TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM HSA
Privacy
This page explains what the Temple Beth Sholom HSA Winter Gala website collects, why, and how to ask us to change it. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number when you buy raffle or event tickets or send a supporter or sponsorship request. For event tickets and package-included admissions, we also record attendee names.
- Order details: your raffle number, ticket packages, the amount due, the payment method you prefer, your basket choices and whether HSA has recorded your payment.
- For supporter requests: the tier or Stardust option you chose, any donation details, an organization name and any logo you give us.
- Notes HSA staff add to your order, such as when they contacted you or recorded a payment.
Why we collect it
We use this information to run the raffle, event admissions and the gala's supporter program: to keep your tickets and basket choices together, to maintain the attendee list and plan catering, to contact you about payment, to send your receipts, and to recognize partners and supporters. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Payment
This website does not take payment and never asks for card or bank details. Guests select Check, member-account billing requiring approval, or TBS-member-only ShulCloud ACH or credit card. HSA staff arrange payment outside the website and record it on the order; staff can also record Cash or Venmo payments. For member-account billing, we collect the member's name and email for HSA review.
Emails we send
We send order confirmations, staff-requested payment reminders, payment receipts, raffle selection availability and completion notices, and short codes or one-time links that let you find your raffle or event tickets. These emails go through Resend, an email delivery service, from gala@tbshsa.com. Replies go to tbshsa@tbsonline.org.
Your browser
When you purchase event tickets or find your raffle or event tickets, this site keeps a private session in that browser tab for up to 12 hours so you do not need a new code for each change. Raffle and support drafts, including choices and contact fields you enter, may be saved in your browser so you can continue later. The site uses no advertising trackers. HSA staff sign in to a separate dashboard.
Who can see your information
You see only your own tickets. HSA staff and volunteers who run the gala can see orders, attendee names and support requests so they can arrange payment, manage attendance and run the raffle. Public website recognition uses a display name and, where provided, a logo only after payment and staff approval. Guest email addresses, phone numbers and private staff notes are not part of that public listing.
How long we keep records
We keep gala records for as long as HSA needs them to run the gala, follow up on payments and keep its own financial records. After that, we delete them or keep only what HSA must keep.
Changes and questions
To see, correct or remove your information, reply to any gala email or write to tbshsa@tbsonline.org. We will update this page if what we collect changes.
